Buying basics
What to know before your first purchase
A useful adult product guide begins with your questions, not a ranking.
Define the question you are trying to answer
“What is the best adult product?” is broad enough to produce a lot of unhelpful results. Start with your situation instead. Are you learning what the categories mean, comparing two options, or checking how an order will arrive? Each question needs a different kind of information.
Read beyond the product name
A useful listing describes the item, identifies its materials, explains the controls, and provides care instructions. Look for dimensions rather than judging size from a cropped photo. Check whether a charger or cable is included and whether any claimed app features require an account. Write down anything you cannot confirm.
Keep a short decision note
Record your budget, the features you actually need, and the reason each candidate fits. If an option adds complexity without solving your problem, leave it off the list. This site does not sell products or claim a tested winner. Its purpose is to help you ask better questions before you decide whether to buy anything.
